At this stage i am checking on the charge to my credit card as the charged converted to australian dollars seams to be over by 300 so i am having it investigated to see what has happened. being a hotel you have guest staying with bags so a ramp at the front or some assistance at the stairs would be ideal. dinner or lunch should be available at the hotel.Gary Casey

I asked for a double kingsize bedroom, got a confirmatino of a superior room. and at arrival we got a twin bed room with a tiny window with no view which we could not change. and we celebrated our 6th anniversary. very poor!James

One hotell reception staff male with dark hair was very rude to us over reception and we were quite shocked about the way he and the tone he used when he talked to us, therefore we will not recomend this hotell to anyone in the future.Anonymous

We arrived late at the hotel and were pleasantly informed that we had been allocated the penthouse suite! we were most delighted and enjoyed the luxery for the night we stayed at the hotel. the staff were friendly and efficient.Because we arrived late on a saturday night we were looking forward to a night in the town but unfortunatley we had to get back just after midnight as there was no night service on the tram.Anonymous

The hotel is not far from the center, you can walk from there and it is easy to arrive with tram number 2. the area is quiet and nights are silent.In the mornings the bang, bang of the doors is a terrible and unpleasant experience. we arrived very late at night (flights delayed) and wanted to sleep a little but was impossible. they should do something to avoid the awful noise that doors make when people close them.Anonymous

Near tram stop Part of the gamble involved the possibiliy of staying at either the vondol park plaza or the victoria hotel. i was never informed as to which hotel i was staying in and it was left to me to make expensive phone calls to find out where i was staying. breakfast in the hotel was extremely expensive. Room not bad, overlooked a lake on vondel park. plasma screen tv on wall. bathroom nice. only 4 tram stops from leidseplien. quiet residential area.No local amenities or shop nearby. quite a trip to the city centre. trams very easy to work out get a pass for weekend works out much cheaper! no smoking at all in the hotel! if you take the gamble u probably get vondel park plaza as opposed to city centre!Anonymous
