Amsterdam Central Station is seven minutes away by foot, and it is only a half-hour journey from there to Schiphol Airport.
A shuttle bus to Schiphol is at your disposal, departing every 30 minutes from 5 o’clock in the morning to 8 o’clock in the evening.
The Krasnapolsky Hotel Amsterdam also has its own landing dock for boats.
How to reach the hotel?1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: You dont have take the tram, you can walk to the hotel +/- 2 min. the trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM

They sorted out the mess from booking through your website. you had reserved single rooms for 2 people sharing????? the advanced booking does not specify the type of room you need!!!!!
They tried to fob us off at first, then they were very helpful when they realised the mistake. we ended up having 2 bed apartments which was very nice.Anonymous

The rooms were cleaned when we were out and we were not disturbed when we were in the room, even though the other rooms were being cleaned beside us.Yes, i left my phone in the hotel room and i phoned the hotel three times and they said they would ring me back and they didn't, the third time i rang they just said that they don't have anything left in from my room, they didn't sound like they had specifically enquired to anyone about my phone. also we were on honeymoon and i requested a smoking room with a nice view and i got a non smoking room (but i think they are all now non smoking so that was ok) but the view was just looking onto another wall and roof.Cooper

At the time of booking (back in march) we booked a junior suite and requested it be a smoking room. on check in, we were told that there were no smoking suites available at all due to the new laws coming into effect on 1st july. we were disappointed that we had not been informed before check in that this would be a problem. after 30 minutes of the hotel staff trying to find a standard smoking room that might be available they eventually gave us a suite but were asked to open the window to smoke through it. after that, the bins weren't emptied on a daily basis, the bathroom towels were not fully replaced each day, and the toiletries were not suitable for a man to use.
