In the very heart of Amsterdam, on walking-distance of the famous Rembrandt Square (7), the Opera and City Hall (6), the Dam (3), the Munt (5), the Waterlooplein (6), shopping streets, the Fleamarket and the floating restaurant Sea Palace situated in the old harbour near the Central Station (2).
How to reach the hotel?1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: You can take metro: 51, 53 and 54 from the square in front of the station to the Waterlooplein. From there you can walk to the hotel +/- 5 min. the trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM

It was scorching hot when i stayed at the end of july and this hotel does not have air conditioning. i was 19 weeks pregnant and finding it difficult to sleep. my boyfriend went to talk to reception in the middle of the night and they were lovely and loaned us a fan for our bedroom, plus the fact that there is are two vending machines meant i also got an ice cold drink to cool me down. my 14 year old daughter had a twin room and it was a really good size. the plasma tvs were better than ours at home!There are fridges in the rooms but they don't seem to be very cold!!Ryan Mc Gonigle

Breakfast wasn't that bad. the hotel's location was awesome b/c it's walking distance to everything.I wasn't thrilled with one of the receptionists who worked evenings at the front desk. i thought she was very rude and unhelpful. the rooms aren't cleaned very well when housekeeping comes through every day.Millin
