How to reach the hotel?Traveling from SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information.
Or you can take the conexxion shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, 20,00 EUR per person per way.
Traveling from CENTRAL STATION: You can take tram: 2 and 5 from the square in front of the station to the Hobbemastraat. From there you can walk to the hotel +/- 3 min.

The staff was helpful and very nice with everything i asked for.
When i got to the hotel at 23.00 at night, i was told the room i had prebooked was not available, as the bathroom did not work. i was offered a lesser star rated room, with free breakfast, which i declined. i was then offered to stay at the golden tulip, as i couldn't stay at the museum apollo hotel. they paid for the taxi to the tulip hotel, and i was looked well after, considering the circumstances.Anonymous

Staff are friendly. they upgraded my room no problem when i asked. well located for museums, transport, bars and restaurants.I had to ask for a new room because the single room i booked was smaller than a prison cell (honestly - about seven feet by ten) and had the ventilation plant for the whole hotel humming noisily just outside the window.
even at the heavily discounted rate of 120 euro a night the single rooms in this hotel are extremely poor value and should be avoided.Miss Victoria Thompson

Great bar, clean rooms and friendly staff. free internet. they were happy to move us to a different room when we asked with no fuss. very comfortable rooms and great shower. For some reason we had two single duvets, even though we were sharing a double-bed. the bathrooms were tiny, in the corner of the room and had a see-through glass door! very dutch, but not do great if you value your privacy. no character in the rooms but they were clean, simple and comfortable. Nice bathroom, a little small, but i enjoyed the rain-style shower headI stayed for one night before i flew out early morning. i heard about their new restaurant, so i had planned on having a nice, quiet evening in the hotel and eating at the restaurant. however, i was surprised to find out (i was not told, i had to ask) that the restaurant was not open that night. so instead, i had to walk around at night, alone (as a single female) instead of being able to eat at the hotel. I have stayed once in the smokers room and that was pretty good and now stayed in the executive room which was apart from 1 or 2 things really nice!!!Well i think the sheets on the bed could of been changed before i got there, i wasnt happy about that! thats all reallyDavid Sears
